Flip Out Trampolines

Avatar

Now this place looks fun!! Anyone who’s bounced on a tramp before knows it has a fun factor of 10/10.

Just so happens I’ve been in contact with Flip Out in Brookvale about bringing in tramp boards to practice tricks on! What a great way to progress your skating or snowboarding in the off season!

As they don’t have any boards in yet they tell me they’re looking into ordering some boards from the US.. Im guessing kinda like ones you’d see and Woodward Camp and Camp of Champions in Canada and the States.

I think this would be a great day out for BW members. If anyone is keen to try when the boards come in let me know and i can try and arrange with the crew at Flip Out.

Great idea. I have one of these tramp places coming this summer not far from my place in Geelong, Victoria.

I’ve always wanted to go to one of these places.

In saying that though, I know quite a few people that have necked themselves at these places too.  gulp

Mr.h0z and a few mates go to a gym in narrabeen for a tramp class, and they brough the snowboard addiction tramp board and put chicks bindings on it. And they all use it to practice on…  I’m yet to use the board but have been to a few classes (but not lately as I’m letting my knee rest between snowboarding trips)  but its insanely fun!

Me too… I don’t know if the risk > reward…

I’m sure it’s the same with any board sports, there will always be some risk factor. Start small and work ya way up and avoid injury! Yew!

I think it’s a rad idea,  sure there’s plenty of risk but snowboarding is risky anyway.
I’m looking at possibly having a tramp and some of these boards at my Park

Been to flip out at Brooky a fair bit,  good fun and a full on workout.  Spoke to them about boards and they were pretty receptive,  one of the staff had some very rudimentary foam skis made up that he had tried. Really good for ur aerial awareness and getting the mechanics of spins and flips dialled before u try it on snow.
