Haha I had a suspicion you guys we’re talking about the same movie. I know Mizu loves Disney movies — Bambie is his best movie of all time!
I watched Frozen (Disney) and I quite liked it, too. Not my usual cup of tea but it was fun and entertaining nonetheless (it was the only movie showing on the plane).
Wes Anderson is awessommeee!
Agreed.
Also saw Moonrise Kingdom last week (another Wes Anderson)...and whaddya know? Its awesome!

Nothin wrong with Bambi!!!!!

Moonrise Kingdom.
Best wedding in the history of the world, the only wedding I’ve ever cried at.
There is something very simple yet spectacularly awesome about this movie.I still have 15 minutes to go but had to stop and share the joy I’m experiencing.
The Grand Budapest Hotel was good but not as good as Moonrise Kingdom.
Saw Frozen at Movies in 3D - was hypnotized by the snow and ice animation
Watched “Hercules” last night.
Questionable storyline and acting, but a pretty decent action movie overall. The Rock is the highlight of this movie for sure, with his ripped muscles and flowing hair, haha.
Enjoyable movie. Nothing special.
7/10
Is that 7 out of 10 Bananas?????
Just for you.
I’ve had a big week of movie watching ending with a flashback to Young Einstein today. Worth it just for the soundtrack (best aussie soundtrack ever).
Divergent - pretty good futuristic. 6/10
Backyard Ashes - pleasantly surprised, stereo casting annoyed. 4/10
Captain America the winter soldier - My mum loved it, I was a bit meh 5/10
Transcendence - I thought this rocked, prob not for everyone. 7/10
Walk Of Shame - Goes to show a well made movie makes all the difference, many laughs. 6/10
An adventure in space and time - story of how Dr Who came to be, a nice history lesson about british TV in the early 60’s. 5/10
The Other Woman - Cameron Diaz keeps getting better (I wasn’t a fan of her early work) but honestly Leslie Mann stole the show. 7/10
The Pirate Fairy - I didn’t like the Tinkerbell movies but enjoyed this, might have had something to do with the pirate fairies name “Zarina”. PP liked it too
Just saw “The Grand Budapest Hotel”. I enjoyed this and even had one or two out-loud laughs. The plot is a bit of nonsense and really just a vehicle for the dialogue and visuals, but if you can put that aside it is a great fun movie and I would highly recommend it, especially to fans of Wes Anderson.
Also recently saw “Omar” and “Bethlehem” (sub-titled). Both are stories told in the setting of the current Israeli-Palestinian conflict but Omar was made by Palestinians and Bethlehem by Israelis. Despite this and aside from some predictable differences in views the two stories are incredibly similar. I’m not sure you could call these films enjoyable but they definitely capture your attention and maybe give a view of some of what’s going on over there. I would definitely recommend these films but don’t expect happy endings.
Starred Up - Great UK film ... violent and hard to hear accents.
The Longest Week - Great if you want to watch a movie with your gal.
Guardians of the Galaxy — 8/10
Great movie, thoroughly enjoyable.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — 6.5/10
Butchered the original storyline, Megan Fox eye candy, a bit silly and disjointed but fun to watch.
Guardians was awesome, my favourite comic book movie since Dark Knight. - 9/10
Still keen to see TMNT even though I know it’s going to be Michael Bay bad…
Anyone who has an interest in NFL (or American sports) should watch Draft Day. It might be bit un-realistic but overall a really good movie for the premise of a NFL draft. - 7/10
Guardians 9/10 it was so good I love the feel and I think James Gunn did it right with the exception of one small detail: in one of the scene, I didn’t think that Gamora would’ve acted in that way.
TMNT I kinda wanna watch but not, coz I heard about Trans4mers and how it sucked and didn’t make sense, and I dont’ wanna see my childhood love being Michael Bay’ed.
I watched Draft Day it was awesome.
Speaking of NFL movies, anybody watched Friday Night Lights? Both the movie and TV series were awesome.
Has anyone out there watched Snowpiercer? It’s a bit of a weird one you love it or you hate it.. and I’m conflicted about it.

I dunno about Megan Fox, I think she used to be totally hot, but somewhere along the way she went overboard and got too plastic fantastic, if you know what I mean…
Also, I did catch Frozen a while back coz everyone was raving about it, but I don’t consider it an epic classic film, like say, compared to The Lion King and before that. It was good, just not…. super.

Love love love Friday Night Lights!!!
I watched the movie years ago and don’t remember loving it as much as the TV show.
So Draft Day eh?
Will have to look into that.
