Perisher is making a real effort to keep park peeps happy. Yesterday there was five different type rails and a 20-30 ft jump. I imagine it will change a lot after they get this next lot of snow.
Farkin rocks!!!!!!!!!!
How much snow do you think you got today?
Not enough by the looks of my board….
It’s still dumping down, has been all day.
Winds are up tho. Pretty wild out there.
I probably wouldn’t tide tomoro if you whernt already of the mountain. Save it for Tues/Wed or next weekend.
What you saying Matty??
Perisher with fresh, deep pow, high wind, crowds and too much terrain for the mountain crew to prep for ridding is overrated - Who would’ve thunk ?
What are people’s thoughts on the best intermediate run/s for someone transitioning from beginner runs? For a rider who is gaining confidence but maybe not ready for too much steepness and can link some basic turns.
Appreciate any input.
Smigs!
Pretty Valley and/ or Pleasant Valley are good but sucky for snowboarders just learning due to the flat lead up to the chairs.
Happy Valley is ok - but queues can be long.

Easy rider/Pleasant Valley Quad is always good fun and plenty of space to try out your turns. I always liked rollercoaster for progressing too.
Even now my favourite run at Perisher is starting at the top of blue cow and heading down to the right onto lower road run and joining up with the bottom half of roller coaster. Then you can finish down at the bottom of Ridge Quad and head up and do Zalis or side saddle.- yes they are a bit steeper and sometimes icy and crowded but go at your own pace and you will improve. I lap those runs all day sometimes! No T-bars to worry about either in those runs if they worry you.
First tracks this morning.
I am frothing. Probably best ride this morning iv evervhad.
Powpowpow
