Lift Tickets to Aussie mountains

Avatar

So it’s the biggest snow storm the Australian alps has seen for years is coming to belt you for 6!

Well that’s what Snowatch is saying 124cm at Falls Creek. Seems a little over the top for me but who knows only the weather gods. Wouldn’t it be great if lift tickets were based on the snow depth in Australia 50cm = $55 for a ticket and if its over 100cm = $110 including the 10% GST. Least every one would have a fair go if they come from a lower economy and it might help to get more people in to the sport.

Thoughts?

Hahaha good luck getting any company/business who want to survive more than a season to agree to this.

Well they do have that snow guarantee thing.  I think they need to have 3 runs open - 2 green and 1 blue otherwise money back.
Also I think they have discounted from time to time eg. spring when not much is open.

That’s a scan because it never goes below 30cm on the snow depth later in the season and in Australia a 5 second ride is counted as a run.

Deano! It’s an idea man! But your right :( money makes the mountain go around.

They know they can charge what they want because people will go anyway.
