But it makes me wonder where skating will go from here.
They should create Ultimate S.K.A.T.E. comps or something 
Because the whole “best trick means you’re the best skater” thing, just can’t apply any more.

It never did. Style, trick selection and spot choice have and always will be major parts of skateboarding and “making it” in the sport. It’s one of the things that’s so great about it…being “the best” is 100% subjective
