stoked I sent off my season pass form.
stoked on the email I got this morning from Spray magazine (a Japanese backcountry ski & snowboard mag) - they want to run 3 shots. Two are particularly rewarding: my hands were going to fall off they were so cold for the first one, but I hung in there and got the shots, and for the 2nd I had to hike for 4 hours carrying a heavy tripod, plus all the camera gear. It was so ridiculously heavy! Then, on the way down, the chute we picked had a huge ice patch in the choke. I fell on it and went into a deathslide with the heavy tripod pulling me down. Luckily I stopped when the snow got deeper. I lost the tripod mount to my lens in that fall too. So it’s nice to get those shots published.
I am stoked that I have a great friend here in Aus (soon leaving to play in Canada) who has supported, and motivated me to get my butt in gear and get a website up. This friend went so far as to purchase my domain for me just to make sure no one else would get it. I have finally got everything together and gone live. The site is up and running now, fully designed by me. Which took a lot of time and patience do to the crap internet I have.
Thanks Jeremy, your support has meant a lot hope to repay the favor soon… Probably back in Canada
