Ill pay that one!!
Thanks guys. Here’s the butter carve video. I realize my nico butter has no style at all haha. The eurocarve wasn’t the best since it’s very slushy, the last video I posted was a bit better.
NIce mate!
But, get your filmer to film in LANDSCAPE!
@K2: Haha ya I know, I forgot to tell him.
Procrastinating away looking at some gopro footage from whis, thought id share some screen grabs from whis park! If you cant tell im frothing for the AUS season to start..
Nice one, mate. I’m frothing too. I’ll definitely try catch up with you at Perisher sometime this season. Looks like I’ll get at least a couple of trips down there this season, and then back to Whistler in October.
Awesome tracvks :D
such clear screen grabs you’d be forgiven for thinking they are pics from an slr, technology has really come a long way!!
@Rider
Thats whats up, look forward to riding with a few people off BW this season!
@Skip
Thanks man!
@Trent
Yeah I agree but its mostly because the forum scales them down like that, viewed any bigger and they start to pixelate.. Not trying to diss the gopro at all haha
Had a slide up at perisher last week, tried my first cab 1s on to the down corry.. Bailed a bunch but was happy with the effort. Anyone else find that first attempts at new tricks go the smoothest, then you go downhill from there? Or just me..
First ever attempt at a corri the other day.
Big smooth boardie all the way down.
Second attempt, cought an edge and destroyed myself..
Yell out when your up again, keen as to go for a ride with some crew.

Yes lol! I’ve definitely had that on quite a few tricks.
I’m not sure the exact science of it. But my theory is that the first time you try something new… usually you are kind of worried about it (at least a little bit). So when you try it the first time, if you have the skills to do it, you will have a huge adrenaline dump that makes you ride purely by instincts and it works. Then when you try to do it again, you think hard about what you did and try to repeat it… and then fall on your face.
Super glad im not the only one! Yeah mattyp ill be up tomorrow!
I often learn tricks by doing them by accident the first time.
Today re-learnt to butter to 360 out off small kickers.. More bumps. Pulled a few off pretty well.
Thought, if I can do that, I should be able to cab 360.
No chance. Keep getting stuck between 180-270.
Any suggestions or thoughts on why I could spin it while buttering but not riding switch?
Yeah man you got those butter 3s dowwnn! Look good as aswell.
Were you going butter from reg to sw spin?? If so, thats hell mad. I was going sw butter to back 1..
And I cant cab 3 so ill leave it to one of the top dogs to run through that haha
