Just found out one of my best mates has motor neurone disease and is basically going to die within 2-3 years. He will rapidly degrade physically between now and then. To make matters worse, he had a top level of life and disability insurance for many years but cancelled it 3 years ago. He is divorced and supporting one kid through year 12.
I will be doing what I can to help him.

Found out today I didn’t get my dream job as caretaker of a small campground at my fav surf beach, next to my daughters school; so for the inevitable future I’ll be continuing the 1hr drive to get her to school or go surfing.
It was between me and 3 others and all I recieved was a generic email telling me I wasn’t successful.
Devo this hangover wont go away… But i bet im not feeling as bad as Rhi is right now

Fark me! It gets better for my family at the mo… This time it’s my parents house robbed on the weekend, now today Mum’s in emergency *again* - this time she’s swallowed wood from a chicken skewer which has been lodged in the back of her throat - she needs to go under general to get it out! Bloody hell! Wouldn’t read about it….

I’m devo I’m currently waiting for an x-ray on my ankle. Rolled it last night at kickboxing, thought it was fine so kept training and did some sparring. Woke up this morning and I can’t walk on it. Doctor reckons it’s probably a strain but thinks there’s a chance I might have fractured it.
On the bright side, at least I should be all better before snow season!
had a accident yesterday
Ambulance has come screaming through an intersection with no siren on (only lights) myself and the chick infront of me had not seen or heard it, anyways she has slammed her breaks on to avoid hitting the ambo, then I have done the same and ran up the back of her. Therefore my fault! . Damage not too bad, just front bumper damage to me, and a few scratches on hers.
Just annoying - my shiny new car!! =(
Was the anmbo going through a red light? If so and they had no siren on then it’s the ambo’s fault I believe
yes because i had a green light and they were going the other way.
Yes I told my insurance this but I am still at fault regardless of the ambo.
I didn’t hear a siren but that doesn’t mean they definitely didn’t have it on, but the girl I hit said she did hear anything either which made me think if they even had it on?
But once I hit her and the ambo went past I have no idea if it had its siren on then, you go into a shock mode and aren’t really thinking straight.
