Does anyone around here get a pass & ride the glacier park in summer? or who has done it and why would/wouldnt you do it again?

Yeah I’ve ridden it the past 2 years as I get a pass for free through work. Public park isn’t huge, think of it being a 2 lane front valley park at perisher if that makes sense- it’s about 8 rail features and maybe 2 jumps. But for the first few weeks before the dave murray camp shuts it’s been around 6 rail features.

Yeah I’ve done one summer there. I was just working as a lifty so I got a pass. I don’t know if I’d buy a pass for it unless you are going to be there all summer. If I was there for a short time I would buy a week or 2 session in the CoC or Dave Murray Camp. WAY better than the public park.
I snuck into CoC in uniform “on the way to my lift” but got caught eventually. I was beautiful while it lasted lol.

Oh well in that case it might be worth it.
How much is a glacier pass worth?

If it’s not too expensive then yeah. But fair warning, don’t expect to much from the public park.
Glacier snow is really weird and hard to push off for take offs. Really sketch coming onto rails lol. The CoC makes up for that by having a dope park. But the public park… well… it’s snowboarding, so better than nothing.

Not to be negative, just trying to give u a perspective so u can decide.
If it’s affordable, then hey, why not.

The other thing to remember is that public access to the mountain doesn’t start until 11, it then takes ~45mins to an hour to get up to the glacier which then closes at 3pm so they aren’t full days.

Are you going to be coaching or anything while you’re over there this time? Or just running BW?

I will probably pick up a part-time job on weekends to help with my residency application but I doubt it will be instructing.

Sadly no. (I have no idea what ice prancing is actually).

To anyone who’s still in whis: Is terrain garden still open or do they merge the small park with the nintendo park?
