Preferred dates for the Boardworld Shred

Hey guys,

After last season’s fiasco, it was the general consensus that we should hold the Shred before spring.

Just throwing out some dates to see what works for the majority. I think it’s still a good idea to hold it not so early in the season, as the snow cover and parks are usually pretty solid in mid-late August, plus we avoid school holidays and accommodation isn’t as expensive.

Please disregard the location for now. Let’s lock in the preferred dates and we can fill in the other details later.

I’m leaving the date range as 9 days, including weekends on either side. Let’s get the approximate date we want, then we can decide which side of it the weekend should be.

I’ve dropped in some options. Please vote and also reply with your thoughts. Please also note that from 26th August it becomes “Saver Season”.

I was pretty sure that Trent and I had the Date situation sorted?????

I’m already in Jindy from 18-31st Aug,  so if its between then.. I’ll come hang with you.. And prob drag the rest of the guys with me.. (10-12 of us) if its at perisher we can hang a few days.. (most of us have freedom passes) if its a thredders.. Might only do a day (as the 2 week trip will be costing us enough.. So we prob won’t be able to buy many days at another resort. ). But what ever/when ever you decide.. I’ll try my best to at least get a day in!

ill come for some days regardless when it is, as long as its at Thredbo or perisher, i reckon last week of aug or first week of september

I’m there all season so I’m good for whenever. I’ll just have to remember to ask for some days off this time

Late August/Early September is the best for the event!!!!!

Cheaper, Less Crowds both on the Mountain & Off, better weather conditions, softer snow for the “K2’s” that can’t help themselves, and also leaves a better vibe around that time of the season when you can do a bit of yahooin!!!!!

Plus some of the Winter Workers have more of an opportunity to join in the festivities!!!!!

My $200!!!!! *its always expensive at the snow!!!!!
