MUST WATCH! AWESOME FILM
Yes! Can’t wait to finally see this!
4 HOURS!!!!!!
Have to say I was disappointed after having reasonably high expectations!
Didn’t like the music and didn’t like that they didn’t have name captions saying who the hell’s riding you were looking at.
Really?!
I strongly disagree. I felt the music was AWESOME! Had such a sick vibe. Real core feel. But blended all the disciplines together really well. It was not your typical film, but thats what I liked a bout it.
It didnt bother me bout the names. I think that was a part of it. Its not a part film. It was more This is SKate, This is Snow, This is Surf and mixing the cultures together, rather than this is “such n such’s” part
My favourite scene still is watching Grant Taylor and David Gonzalez skate that mini in the ocean at sunset.
I thought it was brilliant and I do like it didn’t have a name as they are all part of a big team. 9mm or 16mm footage is always my favorite like Alien Workshop videos.
Well filmed and didn’t lose interest in the surfing sections.
Yeh, filming was great all round. Did you watch any of the making of vids? They were really interesting! I’ll post them. A quote from them made me laugh. Was along the lines of “All Volcom films feel like an art project gone wrong"haha
In the making of’s all the riders were saying how they dont know what they are filming for, they just do their thing and see how the end product turns out. Really cool.
And totally agree, 8mm 16mm footage was sick.
And the surf was well done. I get bored watching modern surf footage. I like how this had more of a doco/oldschool feel to it. Like I was watching a surf flick from the 60s
These are all worth watching too. They go into more detail about the Volcom way and why the movie is the way it is
Ep 1 - 20 Year Itch
Ep 2 - It’s Not You, It’s We
Ep 3 - Not New To This
Ep 4 - The Indefinite Ride
does dollin still skate or just faff about?
He still skates. Obviously not throwing out video parts all the time, but yeh, still skates.
why not, his mate ‘the boss’ still does?!

Six knee reconstructions. Yep, you read that correctly. The fact that Dollin still puts out any footage at all is mind blowing.
Just wait until the Vans video comes out. This photo came out late last year:
He’s been touring Europe and America non stop with Vans and filming for their video, apparently. I’m hoping he has a full part. He had a really good front noseslide in TransWorld earlier this year too, so there’s still some decent coverage. He’s put out part after part through his whole injury riddled career, so if he doesn’t end up having a part I’d forgive him.
The Boss hasn’t done anything since Stay Gold either.

6, yep that’ll do it. footy players bitch and moan about one and he’s had 6 and is still out there, kudos dustin!!
I had the pleasure of skating with him through friends of friends a couple of times years ago, will be rad to see his stuff if its anything like that pic!!
Yep, I remember reading an interview a while ago where doctors warned that he’ll probably never walk again after he’s 50. Dustin just laughed it off and thought just living to be 50 would be a surprise. Gotta love him.
