I don’t like keepin all my stuff in the one place!!!!!
I keep a photocopy of my passport in my wallet just incase I lose the real thing!!!!! (Along with a couple more in my luggage)
Same with cards!!!!! I spread the risk and hopefully minimise loss when/if somethin goes wrong!!!!!
yea i do the same thing, this would just be good for when in “flight mode” rather than have the passport purse that is a pain in the ass to carry around
I actually saw a really good idea a while back, roll up your cash, and keep it in an old (cleaned out obviously) lip balm (chapstick etc) tube… then if you get robbed, you have nothing in your wallet.. and its also small enough for any pocket! (would be good on the snow if you didn’t want to take your whole wallet! (especially since most of you are male and don’t have bras to stash things in haha!)
Xanex.
And I always took you for a Roofies kinda guy!!!!!
I have them also.
Looks like a cool wallet. I’ve been researching and purchasing a bunch of travel items lately in preparation for backpacking Europe next year. We are going to be travelling super lightweight and only taking what we need.
This is what I’ve purchased to make life easier (or backpack lighter):
Swiss army knife with only what we need (blade, scissors, bottle opener, can opener, cork screw). This way we can make sandwiches, drink beer, drink wine, open cans etc. I always travel with a pocket knife and I use it regularly.
Micro-fiber towel. This thing is super lightweight, packs really small (about the size or a regular can of beens), and is really absorbent. It is pretty much a full sized towel. Always worth travelling with IMO.
Parachute cord keychain. More of a gadget but could come in handy in an emergency. It’s a small woven keychain which unwinds 6ft of super strong parachute cord.
Camelbak Groove bottle. Also a great one for general travel and saves you buying expensive bottled water in the airports. It’s water bottle with a built-in filtration system (good for 180L of water before the filter needs replacing). http://shop.camelbak.com/groove-6l/d/1204
Lightweight foldable backpack. I take this as an extra backpack. Again it’s super lightweight and packs small into it’s own bag, but there you have an extra backpack for day trips (my main backpack is usually always packed with laptop, other expensive equipment, documents etc). This way you always have an extra backpack on the go for days exploring or carrying groceries etc.
Travel laundry detergent. Super concentrated in a small tube (regular toothpaste tube), will last you for months of cleaning laundry by hand or machine. Small, weighs next to nothing, and you will have clean clothes throughout your travels.
Hydralyte (or equivalent) electrolyte powder. I can’t tell you how beneficial it is to have this on you when travelling, especially on long haul flights where dehydration is common. It is also super important to have in case of a stomach bug or something if travelling to questionable destinations. They also make a small travel pack with dissolvable tablets similar to a Berocca pack. Seriously, I think it’s always worthwhile carrying some, even if it’s just a couple of small sachets which weigh nothing and take up no space.

Assuming you’re not travelling to the snow and don’t have outerwear, I think it’s always a good idea to travel with a very light and extremely packable shell jacket. I have one that weighs nothing and you could seriously pack it into your pocket. This way you’re always protected from rain, wind, and cold (just layer underneath).
And always, always travel with an eye mask and ear plugs. Makes long haul flights so much more bearable, and you’ll never know if you’re going to need it at your accommodation (light coming into room, noisy neighbours etc).
There’s more but it also depends on where and how you’re travelling.
I reckon Leatherman’s are better than Swiss Army knives these days!!!!!
A Zippo would be a good addition if backpackin as well!!!!!
I have a Leatherman (and other pocket knives) which I travel with regularly, but it’s a bit too bulky, heavy and overkill for our backpacking trip. Plus it didn’t have a cork screw which was essential for this trip because I will be drinking lots of wine.
I bought this one:
But yeah, I agree with you, Leathermans are a great travel companion.
One thing that I always travel with is a small First Aid Kit!!!!!
Make up ya own out of a small airtight container, with a few things such as paracetamol, anti inflamatories, anti histamine, insect repellant, bandaids, antiseptic cream, saline solution, bandages and butterfly clips, tiger balm, tweezers, scissors, nail clippers, needles, etc etc!!!!!
190 gms
^^ Awesome.
Leatherman also get involved in boards sports as well, which is a bonus!!!!!
(especially since most of you are male and don’t have bras to stash things in haha!)
Mizu wears a sports bra to keep his boobs under control when snowboarding.
Not only when I’m snowboardin!!!!!
