ME:
18, -12
23 inches
Centered or slightly setback.
I go narrower and further setback for powder, with usually more positive angles.
What is your stance? and what style of riding?
Stance will be what ever a person’s preference is.
I dont know my stance width, I use the suggested centered width on my board. If I want to go wider, I’ll move both bindings equally closer to the tip, to keep my stance centered, ad I want switch to feel the same as normal stance.
My angles are anywhere from 15-21 on the front and -9 to -15 on the back.
I’ll set it back for the deep, but That is rare for me.
I dont normally go narrower for deep snow, but I may try that some time and see how it feels.

I set back for deep pow.

I find a narrower stance helps with riding powder. I only do this when the snow is deep. It promotes a more upright stance which helps transfer weight to the back of the board and makes it easier on the legs, also giving you an easier pivit point at the back of the board, for quicker surf style turns. Try it standing up, first stand there with a somewhat wide stance and transfer weight to your back leg as if you were riding powder. Now try it with a narrower stance. Easier and more comfortable, isn’t it? It will keep you riding the pow for longer while the park stance dudes will be resting their sore legs. Time and place, but it works.
Hmmm, I’ll have to consider the narrower stance in powder. I normally don’t mess around with my angles or stance, the silly thing is that I used 15 front, zero back, and never ever changed it. Lazy me.
I’m not even sure what my stance width is. I do have a highly directional board, the binding holes are already set back a bit.

The extent that you have to move your hips to place more weight on the back of the board is much less of a movement when your feet are closer together. So it makes sense.
-15,+15 and about 15cm in front of centre…
It’s a really interesting ride. :D
And in reality 18, -12 and as close to centre as I can get.
Stupid question time!!!
You take your stance width from the centre of the bindings yeah?
If so, 23 an 1/2 inches wide.
+18 on the front
- 15 on the back.
Keep in mind it’s a 143 board.
18, Neg 9
22 Inches
From memory im centered on the reference on the front binding and 1 inch back in the rear.

Yes, stance width is centre of baseplate to centre of baseplate. That’s a wide stance, expecially on such a small board. Are you quite tall?
Kinda I guess for a girl, 173cm.
Still fairly wide. Not a bad thing, I was just curious. As long as it’s comfy and works for you.. Do you ride a lot of park?
Not really, made my stance really wide a couple of seasons ago after chatting with a chick from Canada who was about 20cms shorter than me, rode a longer board, and had a wider stance. Never looked back.
Although new settings *may* be a little wide. Will see how is goes on the weekend.
That said this is my park board.
My other board is 150.
I know a girl that rides an unusually wide stance - really has the cowboy (or cowgirl) gunslinger stance.
She’s an excellent rider!
