Awesome!
Whilst I loved my time in the Bahamas over the past week I’m not that bummed to be back in Whistler
Went up this afternoon for a few laps as it had been snowing all day and found that there’s already some areas with knee deep snow. Hopefully it keeps up and we’ll have a great day tomorrow. Also I finally got around to sorting out a pole for my go-pro which I’m really happy with after trying it out today.
Radio-controlled helicopters in the Whistler Blackcomb parks, sledding missions deep in the backcountry, and classic urban spots.
Top edit!
Hey guys got my level 1 CASI course 17-19th of March and want to ride with a few people this coming Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to see if there is anything I need to do differently or better to help me out. Super keen to hit the park too.
If you’re keen message me 6049027717
Epic snow today at work with it puking down from 8-10am leaving around 10cm. It’s stopped snowing now and has started to warm up a little but none the less it will be a great day for those riding..
I might come up this sunday or monday. 778 960 0906 if you wanna contact me. I usually meet up with Andy if he’s not working.
So all peoples currently or recently been living in Whistler;
What are your recommendations on areas to live?
The girl is getting way too excited and wants to start having a look at various places for private rentals, so before she goes off and finds shit and falls in love with it then i have no say*. Good areas in regards to close to everything? RE: Partying, slopes.
*I realise its way too early to look but try telling her that.
Walking distance to village or at least lifts like creekside/nortic/bayshores
Or to village Brio/whiscay/benchlands/uppervillage/Whitegold ish
If your willing to drive and or bus during winter Alpine or alta vista and blueberry are awesome also.
Ha!
I am must be a lazy arse! There is no way I would have walked from Nordic ANYWHERE
I walked from Nordic to Creekside every day for months. I even did the walk of shame a few times from village to nordic
Today is the best of the season by far for me. Met with Torstein at the creekside Gondy, I was lining up and he just got down the mountain. My camera was updating it’s firmware when I tried to take a picture with him and he waited for a minute or 2, such a nice guy.
Got 2 fresh tracks off peak chair, whistler bowl to shale slope and whistler bowl to the bowl beside VD trees. Had lunch, and resume my pow hunting in the emerald trees (trees that end up at the Harmony cattrack and below the peak to peak). So much fun.
