Thanks for clarifying that
Dyldo you really seem to have more money than sense lately. Mac over what TJ mentioned is costing you mucho money, sense cause I still fail to believe how bad you farked up with that chick on the plane.
Actually I’ve decided to cause you some serious McPain, Rodney Rude style next time we catch up, you’ve got 85 days by Hoz’s count I think ha ha ha ha!
awww why the f**k did you have to remind me about that…
You just named two things I dont have, money and sense
Why Mac? I have used Windows 8 solidly and I f#(king hate it. And I have a phone and a tablet, I don’t another touch screen device
go to the apple store, have a good look, that’ll decide you, one way or another. Remember, bigger is always better
As for upgrading RAM/memory - it doesn’t have to be done when you purchase it. There are cheaper aftermarket mac authorized suppliers that sell equal to better upgrades.
If you have a decent LED or Plasma at home, I wouldn’t waste money on retina display unless all your usage is away from home. I didn’t with my MacBook Pro it plugs into my TV easier than a dvd player.
You will need at least 2 portable external drives or always good access to fast internet so you can get to your cloud storage.
I prefer mac because of the ease of use and longevity. I’ll pay for that.
But often advise people to consider PC as a bang for buck option.
You can run mac OS on a PC, it requires some geek knowledge but then you need a little geek ability to operate a PC.
Mac doesn’t need any computer geekiness to operate.

Im not moding it after I buy it, full stop.

Ive been through enough pc’s I want a change
do you want to do edits and stuff? The more RAM you have the better, and the faster processor obviously.
Not sure about the solid state, but the other RAM, i.e. for the pro, is pretty much plug and play.
Personally, I need again want a laptop, (of any kind they die too fast) I want the desktop, and an iPad. occasionally, we take a laptop for work, but seriously, other than photo stuff, we can pretty much do it all on iPad now.

Hey mate, I was with you on the Windows 8 part, thought it was a joke.
After using it for a while and changing some of the crap they load it with, it’s the best operating system I’ve used.
That’s the problem with this version of windows. You need to do too much to make it useable. Like turing off all the screen edge actions, some of the touch crap and installing programs that use the desktop rather than the apps which are utter crap if you ask me.
If they don’t make Windows 9 easy to use, there won’t be a Windows 10…
The other option is to buy a Windows computer and install Win7 on it?
I got this one
My new mac
I told you to get a GoPro?????

$1729 for an I5 with 8gb ram… not really a great deal… though it is a mac so I always expected a $400 surcharge for no apparent reason…
