Im not saying skiing sucks. Look at my comments in the hate on snowboarder/skier thread.
Plus I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the DH events. They dominate down that epic course. Takes huge amounts of skill and balls!
I just think Skiing on rails looks sloppy. And landings where skis are lifting going, different directions. Havent seen a clean run yet. Some of their jumps can look epic.
The dropping poles thing is kinda funny! (Having to walk up to collect even funnier!)
I will admit the chick without the poles looks weird!

I see skiers all the time in the park without poles. Agree it looks bloody stupid, but in saying that, the girl that had no poles before actually had the better style so far
The cute girl without the poles is the ONLY one so far to even look remotely cool.
The whole clumsy, all over the place skis thing is just sad, so it’s apparent that the solution has been staring us in the face the whole time!!! . . .
