Thor wasn’t that bad… though it wasn’t that great either.
Watched Ender’s Game last night and it’s ok but again not great.
Got a few to catch up on but barely have time here in Canada. So much to do all the time
Watched Enders Game yesterday - was ok.
Gravity (which I haven’t seen yet) should only be reserved for a “real” home cinemain 3D or at a theatre. Much like Avatar is a great cinema/3D experience or Apocalypse Now on a 75mm screen.
Apparently Gravity is a “movie makers movie” and considered the epitome of what movie magic is.

Yeah I was going through a lost hobbo kind of phase, wish i kept my dog car though!!
The effects were amazing, dont get me wrong, that’s why I watched the whole thing.. You can see they used to money they would have from a full cast and put it into the effects and sound.. (the views of earth from space, and space itself, and the space station getting obliterated by space junk were insane) (but you could fit that in a 30min doco) the movie as a whole was still average though.. Not the best story line (just very basic) imo..
avatar, had everything, effects/sound, a great story, with little tangents.. And really sucked you in..
this was literally a chick in space, her crew killed from space junk, and her going from one space station to the other to find one to get her back to earth..

Saw Wolf of Wall Street yesterday. Even tho I really wanted to see it I was worried I would get restless for the 3 hrs.

And even with all the promo of her I was surprised margot was actually on screen so much! Well done. Major role and you nailed it!

Haven’t read the books, but we just watched The Hunger Games parts 1 and 2. To be honest, I didn’t think they would be good but I quite enjoyed them, especially part 2 which has a deeper plot. Looking forward to the next one. Jennifer Lawrence brings a lot of value. Overall 7/10.

Good film so interesting and Spike Jonze directed can’t really lose out. Great feeling through out the movie and listening to Scarlett Johansson’s voice is enough to make your balls tingle.
