maybe they only ski Deer valley / Alta? And only see the few boarders who do sneaky runs!
because from my experience (and I don’t have actual statistics, its just from actually boarding at perisher the last few seasons) that its about half, half skiers and boarders.. (I tend to see more borders in the parks though). So idk why they think that boarding is on a down turn?
Actually H0z yes Aus has one of the highest ratios of boarders vs skiers.
But in Europe and the US skiers are still the most prominent on the hill. And over the last couple of years other reports of it declining have been written.
(which is not saying I agree with this article at all…)
And just to inflame you all more - apparently Shaun White is the ambassador of the sport! So he can save it
