A jack of all trades cannot master one.

well kick him off the team then!
(Until that happens, or the rules change,  should he not be be considered. Is he any more “not Australian” than other sports people who were born elsewhere and live their life OS for “tax reasons” or"training purposes”?)

I wouldn’t kick him off the team, he is an honorary Aussie and we need his medals in our tally.
I wouldn’t rate him in a top 100 Australian athlete list though - he’s not that Aussie.

He contributes ONLY his medal count to our country - he doesn’t contribute much to aussie athletes or winter sports. I admire his conviction. But I bet if he could register his own country he would compete for them.

He is a reclusive millionaire who competes for fun.

Ummm what?? Pretty sure he choose us - and not cause Canada wont let him ski for them!

He lives in the Americas. Does little training here and brings his own coaches when he does,

He isn’t a team player.

That is true.

But

I was just stating that he denounced Canada not the other way around!

They would have him back in a heartbeat if he played by their rules.

I am happy he competes for us, more medals hopefully means more funding for our winter athletes.
