Don’t get it unless you’ve actually tried a wide snowboard before and have no problems with it. Generally it will feel very slow edge to edge, especially with your size 8 boots.

Straight up NO, don’t do it!

Unless you’re looking for a board that’s primarily intended to ride in powder, you’re better off choosing the narrowest one you can find which won’t give you toe/heel drag. You’ll turn better, and be less tired at the end of the day.

Heres a snowboard im going to make out of hollowed out aluminium filled with helium. The base will be made of teflon coated in baby minky whale tears for speed. Top sheet is made from marijuana NOT HEMP, so if your jonesing for a toke you can start smoking it.

Pair that with a set of these bindings and you can kiss heel and toe drag good bye

Welcome to Boardworld, viiilu. smile

I completely agree with chucky. Just don’t do it. Size 8 is relatively small; there is absolutely no way you should be on a wide board. It will hinder your progress, guaranteed. Keep searching.
