Hey there girls,
This is a full guide to show you what, in my opinion, is the best female gear from Burton and Nitro. I will go head to toe and explain the pros and cons of each piece, and show you a preview of each.
Boards:
Burton-
The Fortress Board by Burton is a new light-weight board which will leave you shredding the entire mountain. The camber that has been put throughout the board provides the rider with suspension which is great for all those riders who are sick of sore knees from the extreme impact. Extremely flexible and smooth to allow the rider to cruise their way down the mountain with ease, the Fortress Board leaves the rider wondering whether they have a board on at all! A great all-rounder board, if you’re one who likes to hit the jumps aswell as grind and zoom down the mountain, this is definitely the board for you. If you are more into a specific area of snowboarding, you may wish to find a board more suitable for it, as this board is merely an all rounder, mostly for speed and precision.
Nitro-
My personal favourite Nitro Board is the Pro Series Gross Out Maas which is a all terrain board that will leave all your mates in total awe. Its sweet as design is second to none when it comes to riding the board as its sidecuts are cut to let the rider control their turns like a maniac. Its made of combat core to ensure that it it one of the strongest boards it can be. Loving the design on this board and loving how its all terrain use and definitely may favourite board going around to this very day.
Boots:
Burton-
People argue that the Supreme Boot is the best snowboard boot for woman, but I walk around a lot in my boots, and I’m telling you, Burton’s Sapphire Boots are a lot more comfortable and wearable than the Supreme Boot. Sapphire Boots have the padding that you wouldn’t think possible, and leave your feet walking on cushions on every step. Want to live in your boots? Get these. I highly advise them, great for snowboarding because of the cushion but also great for getting around in them. A true winner.
Nitro-
Nitro’s Crown TLS Boots are visually stimulating boots with the durability of a snowboarders dream. Although in my opinion, second to the Burton Sapphire Boots, these Nitro boots are extremely warm, which is extremely important for us snowboarders. Very good grip and we all know that not only do they need to work, but they need to look stylish, and these have got the style.
Bindings:
Burton-
The new Burton Escapde EST Binding wraps your boots so snug that you’d think they were born for each other. The cushion which lets your boots bounce gives it a squishy, soft feel which riders know is important. The strap is soft and the buckles are Smooth Glides which help all those riders constantly trying to rip their buckles tighter. A clear winner these bindings are.
Nitro-
Raiden Deco Bindings by Nitro are one of the most visually stimulating bindings that you will find. Its crazy design is almost as crazy as the amount of flex that the bindings give. Although they are very flexible, they aren’t so flexible that you feel like you’re turning in every direction, the perfect amount of flex. Highly wearable and cushiony. Smooth straps and feel. Number one of this list.
Jackets:
Burton-
The Burton Tabloid Jacket is a slim-fit design that keeps the snow out and the warmth in. The satin lining doesnt only give it style but helps to keep the cold temperatures out. The removable gaiter is a cool little extra with this jacket which allows the rider to connect it with their pants so that no snow can get in. Get everyone’s attention with this wicked design while being comfortable with the 306 degree turning capability. Love it.
Nitro-
Nitro Fame Jacket is another slimfit design which is also great at keeping the warmth in. Most of the Nitro jackets are very similar, yet many different designs are available. This jacket is not just great for snowboarding, but for wherever you wish to wear it. Great design yet again with Nitro and has many of the same features as the Burton jacket above does. Great for looks!
Pants:
Burton-
Burton’s AK 2L Summit Pants are the must have for your snowboarding season. One of the best pants I know that keeps the snow out and still keeps your legs warm not matter how deep in powder you are. Great fit and available in great colours. Not much more to say about these pants, other than get your hands on them now!
Nitro-
The Love Vigilante Nitro Pants having the design to match the Fame Jacket, but the same durability as the Burton pants. There is also not much more to say about these pants but as far as usability goes, these pants are great, and the design is kick-ass.
This is just a simple guide for all those girls wanting the freshest equipment from the two best brands I know.
Lookin’ for style? I’d hit up Nitro.
Lookin’ for reliability and usability as-well as some style? I’d hit up Burton.
Male Guide soon to come.
Thanks.
