Looks like its got the nose of a snow surfer!!!!!
Is the kick on the nose a lot higher than on the tail?????
The profile def looks like traditional camber!!!!!
Mizu, it is camber.
I thought they were sayin that it had some rocker in the Nose and Tail?????
Unless I dreamt that bit?????
My mistake, Marc had called similarities to a Rockered Tip and the JW’s Elliptical Rise!!!!!
The nose is 7cm off the ground and the tail is 6cm.
The shape of the nose is of the old school fish but with more kick to it. The old unincs had ellip kicks too.
Thanks for the pics Marc. Looks like it has quite a bit of a nose kick. The profile is similar to my PYL with the PYL having more camber and a just a touch bit more rocker (at least on mine). How much is the set back?
Setback is 12.5mm
It reminds me of the Burton Malolo. Similar concept, shape looks a bit different.
Yeah Rider, feels like a malolo with less taper- more all mountain.
30cm of fresh at Happo today and snowing. Low viz. tomorrow should be sunny and I guess powdery again. Dammit, I was looking forward to a groomer day
If you guys have any questions like board A vs board B, hit me up.
Burton Fish - camber vs. s-rocker?

Poor Marc. We really feel sorry for you, buddy.

Ooh good one! Will think it over on the chairlift tomorrow

Such a hard life
Hey guys,
Check out these photos of the 2014 Juice Wagon nose and tail. It’s easy to see that the 2014 version has lost the ellip kicks (the steep kicks on the nose and tail) in favour of a more gradual upturn. I think I like the new version better, as it is more conducive to planing on the pow. It actually looks like the K2 tweekends tech. The ellip kicks tend to just push the snow rather than naturally rising above it.
This nose shape doesn’t seem as fishy as my one…maybe they narrowed it a touch.
Next, I found a pic of one of my targets this year: the chute on the left. Picture taken from mountainlife.jp . Check it out, Damian offers quality guiding and his blog is really quite interesting.
Last for now, check out the forecast for this week!!! Those figures are usually understated….gulp.
Now, unfortunately for me, the wife has a wedding to go to on Saturday, so I am the designated chauffeur. However, take a look at those high winds - 45 to 55km/h means that Happo’s upper lifts could be closed, and all that snow will just sit around til Sunday - for me! Fingers are crossed. The temps are dropping too, so I’ll need to dress warm. Maybe my AK down will make an appearance?
ps. dawn this morning was a cracker (I think). Being a sleepyhead, I just missed the peak.
