I’m all for KP but how is he a nominee for adventurer of the year? He doesn’t really go on a so called “adventure”. Would love to vote for him but I won’t since he’s not an adventurer in my opinion. I understand if Jeremy Jones or Travis Rice gets nominated but not KP.
I think it is more an against all odds kind of thing - which is that adventure spirit!
I also don’t think you have to be the best to be an adventure.

At the Australian premiere there was a very big focus during the Q&A about the NEED to wear helmets (their words not mine) and KP himself is very pro helmet and has set up the foundation/charity “love your Brain” http://thecrashreel.com/loveyourbrain
I know of a patroller who is not a believer in wearing helmets and believes it gives people a false sense of security. She also believed that when you are doing competition tricks (for example) and fall hard enough that nothing will save you.
I completely disagree and so do most of the experts. If that was the case they they wouldn’t be mandatory for motorbikes etc…
I would love to know that patrollers thoughts if she ever saw the movie.

there isn’t much of one.
If we ask for one with our uniform we MUST wear everyday working. I have my own so not compulsory for me to wear it.
But it is compulsory to wear one whilst on a skidoo.
