suggestions for dinner/restaurant in Sydney/Northern beaches

Hey guys wondering if any of you recommend any restaurants in either the city, north shore or northern beaches.. For dinner..

(its Mr.h0z and my anniversary on Friday, and usually we go away for the weekend.. But with the weather forecast and my uncle having his 50th on Saturday night, we have decided to just go out to dinner..)

but are having trouble deciding where..  I was considering cafe mix at the Shangri la but its really expensive.. And the altitude bar there is even more so.. And I was thinking something a little closer to home,so I can drink and,not hassle to much on public transport..

we did braza, barbuto, Chinese and ribs the last few weeks so are thinking something different..

open to suggestions!!

I’ve been told Radio Cairo is pretty awesome in Cremorne. African/Caribbean styled menu.
