The dog wasted no times at all. Must have been waiting for that opportunity for years!
I reckon Chilli would do that to you when the opportunity arises!!!!!
Went to check out a motor home today and found this at the guys place! Sorry for the cell phone picture. Didn’t have my camera.
Apparently at one point in life the tree ended up with a split it in. An arborist had went there and built a brick wall in the crack of the tree or at the crack and over time the tree used the brick wall as a healing method. Can see the tree has grown over the edge of the brick. The tree was eventually taken down due to it getting close to the house, guess there was fear it would come down and destroy the house. At that time the arborist who cut the tree estimated it at 250 years old.
Cool.
But image doesn’t always show. Even copying the URL results in “gateway time out”
BTW you’re in Australia - it’s a “mobile phone” and they take perfectly good photos in the right hands - as is yours.
Not my photo.. it’s from the POTN forums.. and the guy who took it lives in the us.. hence “cell phone”
It was the best thing I’ve seen on the internet today..so I posted it
The old Fig Tree in Figtree (near the Gong) used to be bricked up in the same way!!!!!
