Was flying over the mountains in some old Qantas rust-bucket yesterday and spied the last bits of snow on the Aussie Alps. I couldn’t tell exactly where we were but I reckon these had to be the NSW alps. I think I can just make out some buildings in the pic - would this be Thredbo or Perisher?

Yep
As the crows fly the resorts are pretty close together….
And the highest peaks are between the two.
But the buildings you can see may be thredbo if they are the more southern ones as thredbo is more southern to Perisher….
