Well working at some point is a neccessary evil for 99% of the population, if I didnt have to and had plenty of cash I would probably travel so much for a couple of years people might forget what I look like. As thats not an option thats fits with other goals of mine I am happy in the knowledge that im making the most of what I have and want.
Everyone has different desires and circumstances, just because they are different than your own doesnt mean theyre wrong, as long as theyre not effecting you why really care? I suppose it comes down to wanting to think youve got it better than others perhaps.
I don’t think working for money gives happyness.
I work-I get paid $$$-that $$$ lets me buy things/do stuff-that stuff makes me happy
So in effect, yes working for money does give happiness, IMHO

It seems to me most people spend more time trying to escape their lives and complaining about what they have rather than celebrating it.

Keeping up with the Joneses doesn’t interest me. Though it is a practice I’ve had to unlearn, probably because it is a condition that our society preaches to us from a young age.
Or it’s a natural instinct.
Either way I find it unnecessary and doesn’t make me happy.
I don’t believe that money is required to buy things/do stuff that makes me happy it just makes it more convenient.
Through my experiences I’ve learned; the more $$ you have the more $$ you need. Like a dog chasing it’s tail.
