chucky - your interpretation of my post is wrong.
STOP looking for the argument - I was agreeing with you, you idiot!

You know, all of this talk about Climate Change and the proven Science that CO2 is the driving force!!!!!

Why is it that we spend billions of dollars worldwide continuing to study the effects, when this money would be better spent addressing the causes?????

And why is it that the very people that not only benefit from this money, but are also firm believers, aren’t forgoing this cash in order to save our planet?????

i’m sure that has something to do with economics and politics, big business and $signs. None of which I’m very good at. I’ll just stick to the science, and do my bit at home.

You see things like that, then you think of places like Milford Sound for example!!!!!

How long has Milford been free from Glacial Ice Flow?????

And what caused that to disappear to the extent that we now see it how it is today?????

That would of happened when the Earth came out of an ice age is my guess smile

As for that GIF, we are not in an ice age, so I guess its caused by the climate changing wink

Yeah probably 10-20,000 years ago the ice stopped flowing at Milford Sound when the current warming trend began.

Ice Ages are believed to happen extremely quickly - almost overnight unlike Warming which happens over 10’s of 1000’s of years.

Global Warming, with the gradual way it occurs is easy to live with while Ice Ages are very nasty causing massive instant death.
Maybe we should feel at ease that the current trend of warming continues.

My point bein that this stuff has been goin for ages, and put simply, nobody has a clue what the future holds in regard to our ever changing climate!!!!!

If the ice caps retreat, they call it human induced climate change!!!!! If they advance, they call it human induced climate change!!!!!

I call it Nature!!!!! And nobody is change whatever path it’s on!!!!!

Ohhhh, so what you are trying to say is that its like time travel?

Don’t be silly, time doesn’t exist.
It’s a man made creation and has nothing to do with nature.

Oh wait, that fits nicely with the debate around whether we cause global warming; global warming is only caused by people because we believe it’s caused by people… or some such nonsense.

But I’m serious about time not existing; it’s as real as the number zero.

To be really clear; -what Mizu said!!!!!-

disclaimer; I’m high on a sugar rush after PP’s birthday cake tonight.

I call that BS with a twist. Yes, it always has been and always will be, but like if you add fuel (eg petrol) to a fire, there’s awn accelerant. That’s what we have been doing this past 50 years especially. Just my opinion. cool hmm

As I understand it, natural change takes a longer amount of time, as in thousands to millions, until you reach tipping point then it’s quick, as in decades. What is happening now is an “on speed” version, when tipping points can be triggered quickly by what we do.

But I might be wrong….. which is always a blessing wink
Oh, and I’m not looking for an argument. This is my opinion.

There’s always been accelerants though????? Along with retardants!!!!!

The fact that the tectonic plates shift due to activity in the planets core has an impact on how our planet behaves!!!!!

The indisputable facts of evolution of the Earth’s Flora & Fauna play a major role in how our planet behaves!!!!!

Of course if we start to recycle our rubbish, use solar power, and drive electric cars, there very well could be a difference in the way our planet behaves (maybe good, maybe bad, we never know until the experiment has been completed), but if we think for one second that we can control the tides, then we are kiddin ourselves!!!!!

I think that Humans have been havin more of an impact on this planet than 50 years as well?????

If we didn’t get to our so called state of “Superiority”, something would of, and yes, our planet would most likely be different!!!!!

In a good way????? We’ll never ever know!!!!!

* Im not lookin for a tussle either Tambo!!!!! LOL Just stayin my opinion also!!!!!
