Coming off 2 weeks in South America in July, I have to admit it’s a pretty decent 12 months worth of snow holidays.

Are you flying into Narita? If so would it make more sense to bundle the Hakuba and Tokyo bits of the trip together so you don’t have to do the Narita > Tokyo transfer multiple times?
