As az said, the 1d is pretty much the best canon in the range.. Generally with canon, the less numbers on the front the more $$ you pay.. So 1d range, then 5d range then 7d then things like 50/60d then 600d etc..
the 1d is in the pro category the 5/6/7ds and the 50/60/70ds are in the enthusiast category and the rest below that are in the entry level category. (this is from,memory.. And,not 100% sure..)
but the 1ds range from,about 6/7000 up to about 12000 iirc.. And lenses range from about 300(highly doubt he had a 300 lens on that camera) up to 120000 (yep.. 120k…. Google the canon 1200mm lens. *may have changed in price by now. But its massive and they custom,make them to order..) but a good bet would be the 1-3k mark for a lens.

Nice, the Nike boots are building quite a following on these forums! I’ll need new boots for next season but I just hate the boot fitting process so well done on getting a pair you’re stoked on!
This wouldnt have anything todo with my constant godification of Nike and everything they make to put on my feet would it? 
I think ill be due for a new pair of kaiju’s after, If not during, Japan. My current pair copped a fair flogging this season due to the conditions, that reminds me, ive gotta use that waterproofing stuff on them I bought and forgot about at the shred

Towards the end of the season my feet were soaked by the end of most big days.
My feet were pretty much always still warm tho.

my latest purchas is about $700 of camping gear!!
tent, air bed and pillows, pump, camp fire grill stand and kettle, camping cups, camp fire cast iron toasted chees sandwich cooker, battery powered lanterns, summer rated sleeping bags, marshmallow forks for the fire.. Binoculars, now i just need a sh!t load of water.. (there is no water or electricity where we are going..) only staying for the weekend though.. But i have a battery pack phone charger, and a cigarette lighter to 12v wall socket adapter in my car! So im good for phone and camera charging!
and i can take my ue boom for some music!!
I got black too. But just won one from their FB page so got the Red/White.
I reckon you’ll discard a lot of that stuff once you’ve been camping a few times! Although some peoples camping setups can’t do without the kitchen sink I prefer to keep it relatively simple, the idea of washing up copious amounts of shit after every meal makes me cringe so I use bread for plates and teeth as knives and forks ha ha ha!
haha I’m the same mate! I usually either cook with a trangia or a MSR stove. And use the pots/bowls I cooked with to eat out of

We just boil some water in a big pot, chuck all the crap into it, add some detergent, then scrub them roughly and chuck them into a Woolies Basket to drip dry for the next meal!!!!!
