OI MATE! - EPISODE 204: SPRING SESSIONS
The fourth and final episode of the Oi Mate! series presented by Boardworld gets right in the thick of slopestyle action.
With a sunrise shoot at Perisher with Scotty James representing the Aussies, he’s joined by Norwegian heavyweights Stale Sandbech, Gjermund Braten, Swede duo Kevin Backstrom and Tor Lundstrom, American Chas Guldemond, and Canadians Jordan Phillips and Tyler Nicholson.
Canadians Ryan Manning and Mat Galina throw down on the Falls Creek Mini Ramp along with Greg Murray, Andrew Roth and Scott Wight.
And we have the very best of spring park shred with Aussie big dawgs Ryan Tiene and Clint Allan, joined by Canadian homies Charles Reid, Darcey Sharpe and Ryan Manning.
The Oi Mate! series is proudly presented by Boardworld and supported by the great people at Sandboxland, Rhythm Boardstore Cooma, Thredbo Resort, Radical Gloves, 3CS Outerwear, Fyve Snowboards, Now Bindings, Drift Innovation and AUS/NZ Snowboarding Magazine.

That was sick up until 2:19 and then it let itself down. The Thredbo rail shots didn’t belong and then the rail at night was just not suited to the music at all. even outside my dislike of rail riding it just didn’t really work. That song was just screaming for more massive lofted FV park spins, such an awesome start and then it fizzled.
Not trying to be arsehole but like arseholes, I’m a person with an opinion.
Wow, tough critic NBG!
That’s cool though, everyone has their own opinions and likes/dislikes.
True, it did slow down at the end a bit, but IMO there’s now reason that sliding along a rail can’t be used in slow mo just like gliding through the air. But again, it’s all opinions I guess.
Anyway, I was just about to say how much I loved the time filming and editing. With so many huge names, the riding was always going to be good. But man it feels good to have so many Aussies riding at the same level as the worlds best.
I was lucky enough to see Scotty James be the first Aussie to land a triple cork (and the first to land one in Australia I believe).
Killing it OlliePop crew, I’m looking forward to your Whistler edits!!!
Yeah maybe Andy but it was a banger start and then for me it just didn’t carry it through, my fave Oi Mate was the one last year with Charles Beckinsale hitting the big kicker at Thredbo.
Nice Edit!!!!!
Lovin the more mellow tunes gettin used in edits of late!!!!!

Probably my favourite episode so far.
