I had a fun time designing this graphic. I based the character on the Tibetan mountain god of protection. No fear of avalanches while you’re on this beauty!
So great to see so many rad entries too, should be a tight contest!

You got me curious after reading this.
What is the actual name of the Tibetan mountain god of protection you’re referencing?
I’m interested in how it relates to the Tibetan Gods because it looks just like a warrior to me and nothing more. I know a little on the subject and from my knowledge most Tibetan Mountain Gods are considered to be evil, and there wasn’t any ‘mountain protector’ out of them. Unless you are thinking of yar-lha-sham-po? Who was considered to be their greatest mountain god and then hailed the main god, but was not a protector. Correct me if I’m wrong.

But if I’m right, this snowboard will destroy anyone who rides it.

Hey Travis,

Yeah it’s interesting subject matter. This image is based on “Drag Lha Gonpo” “the worldly protector”, from the eastern region of Tibet.
Apparently from the limited research I did do, they have literally 1000s of gods as they believed each god lived in each mountain in the Himalayas.
I didn’t get up too hung up on the background info of the god, I was just after some visual inspiration that was a bit different.
