Completed the Tough Mudder on the Sunshine Coast today!

Went for a waddle at lunch with one of the girls I work with.

Total distance - 3.41km
Time - 37:30
Pace - 10:59 min/km

She waddles a lot slower than I do so ran up & down some stairs, jogged a bit, step ups etc while I was waiting for her to catch up.

First SUP & kayak of the season this morning, lucky I didn’t fall in the temp in the bay is 11.2 at the moment.

Wednesday - rest day
Thursday - waddle club - 3.77km
Friday - waddle club - 3.2km
Saturday - SUP & kayak
Sunday - waddle club - 4.8km

I’ve conned some of the girls from work to come with me at lunch time, waddle club best describes what they are doing. wink

I start with them, end up about 40 metres in front of them, stop wait for them to catch up & pass, then I start again, end up in front of them again, stop, repeat.

Although somewhat annoying, I’m the type of person that exercises if there is someone else involved, I’m not one to get out and do it on my own. Plus these girls need it more than I do. If I can encourage them to come for a walk with me once or twice a week, it’s a great thing!

Yesterday I did a hard SUP in Pittwater, 5.6km in 44 mins average speed 7.6kmh which is pretty fast by my standards.

Been running 3 mornings a week usually between 4-8km training our cross country team this term. Been awesome. Competition is tomorrow. I think i might keep it going maybe 1 morning a week before school as a running club for the kids and staff too.

Waddle club the lonely edition (one member of waddle club didn’t come in today, the claimed it was too humid & my boss ‘didn’t want to injure himself before holidays’) so I went on my own.

Walked around Burleigh point from Palm Beach, then skateboarded around Plamy, Nobbys for a few hours.

Forgot how hard skating can be…

Indoor soccer last night was killer! Missed last weeks game cos of the shred and apparently the week off all that drinking I did took it’s toll. Still scored 2 goals and we won 6-0 though so no complaints.
