Not much to write as I’m not a good long writer…
So here story, we had the group of 23 deaf adult & kids from Brisvegas, we flew in Canberra for overnight.
We drove hired cars to our chalets Mountain vista for a week.
We were so fortunately to slide/shred all trails with snow covers on whole the week day.
To be honestly I was shocked to witness how fast melting at the lower mountain. Also first time we missed the snow falls in our 6th trip. We were stoked the forecasters are wrong with rains predicted on our last days Thursday and Friday.
I’ll let photo’s and video do all the talks…
Niice TR and awesome pics mate
Great report mate.
Looks like you had an awesome time
Nice stuff mate!!!!!
Thanks guys…
Gotta tell the playground is my favorite ride cos I like the big, long rat racing trail
also some small jumps…
That’s the second year I missed you.
I’m so disappointed I wasn’t in Thredbo the week you were there.
Shredding with you is so full of stoke because of the energy you express - big smiles, waving arms, sheer joy and grunts of madness coming from people who have never heard a sound but still make noise from their mouths anyway - “aaaahhheeeeeahhhh” (makes me so happy just thinking about it).
It’s more than any words can express (written or VERBAL).
I had of course forgotten all the Auslan I taught myself (except “drink” haha)
I even lost the app I had on my phone that would help me.
Really wanted and meet your friends too. It would have been so funny watching me have no clue what anyone was saying.
Next time we will shred, smile, laugh and
^ Yeah I told teen boys you met them, they were disappoint that you won’t be in Thredbo while we are in…
I can image you would be lost when I and deaf mates communicate in auslan…
Till next time we’ll meet and shred together again…
Awesome stuff, mate!
