Best bindings for Burton Social 2013????

I just bought the Burton Social and have had loads of suggestions as to what bindings i should get, Stiletto, Escapade, Lexa!!

Please someone put me out of my misery!!

Escapade hands down. Love them.

That said I have a pair of Scribes on the set up I’m currently riding and have no complaints. The only reason they aren’t Escapade’s is that I bought the set up from a friend and I couldn’t be bothered buying another pair of bindings.

I’m going to recommend the Lexas. Tobi is right, the Escapades are awesome bindings, but they really don’t match well with your board.

The Social is super soft and playful, actually it’s one of the softest Burton women’s snowboards. It doesn’t really make sense matching the board with the most responsive (stiffest) binding in the range. Also, the Escapades are the most expensive!

The Lexas are still fantastic bindings (and only a bit softer in flex than the Escapades). They are still high performance bindings, super comfortable, and excellent value.

I would even consider the Scribes, but for the reasons mentioned, I would rule out the Escapades. For the record, my fiancee and sister both ride the Lexas and they absolutely love them! I have also been selling snowboarding gear for many years, and I have never heard anything but great feedback form ladies riding the Lexas. Perfect balance of performance, comfort, and value. If I was buying for a friend/family member, I would get them the Lexas.

Eventually found your message! It didn’t show up in my email to say I had a reply!!

Anyway…. The Lexa will be ok with a Vans boot yeah?  I’m sure they will but I’m not wanting to replace my boots just yet.

It should be fine. Make sure you take your boots in when you buy the bindings, and just test that it fits nicely. Nearly all boots will, but it’s worth checking (and especially if you are borderline between binding sizes).
