adidas has a rich history, dating back to the late 1940’s, of creating products to help athletes achieve their goals. This commitment continues upward to the mountain and is brought to life through our team and the boots and apparel they wear; from backcountry visionary Jake Blauvelt’s signature boot, to our technical outerwear collection.

You’ve already met Jake Blauvelt, Forest Bailey, Eric Jackson, Helen Schettini, Keegan Valaika and Kazu Kokubo. Many times over, in fact. You’ve seen what they can do in the most prestigious snowboard movies and magazines in the world, but everyone’s got a backstory.
The WELCOME documentary series is less of an introduction and more of an introspection into who these riders are, what drives them, where they came from, and where they’re headed in the future.

I think there is gonna be a fair bit of hate like towards Nike initially from the “purists”.
But I think they could come up with some goods. Nike definatly did. Nike and Adidas have been major sporting footwear players forever. Surely they have the knowledge and technology behind them to through in a bit of positive input.
They have a sick team and looking forward to what comes
I’m interested to see what they come up with. I’m guessing they will want to take a different approach to Nike, to differentiate themselves in the market.

Any brand competition is good for the industry, but I’m not sold on Addidas’ first offerings!!!!!
