Auto. But I try to use engine braking etc even though its auto. I know not to ride the brakes.
Hoping its just the pads. They started grinding on Sunday night. Didn’t drive it until taking it to the mechanics today. So hopefully got them early!

Today is costing $850 to do front and rear brakes (and a service) :-(
There is close to another $1k that needs to be done before rego next Jan.
I miss my imprezza (well having a car that didn’t need so much work :-( )
Ouch… mechanics are nuts these days, mine charges over $100 p/h of labour now :(
Actually mine is pretty freakin’ awesome. I trust him and have complete faith in him.

I walk past the mechanic when he was watching the fuel drain from my tank to do some work the other week and commented that he was earning his labour!
Immediately he responded that he wasn’t charging labour. I wonder if it would have been a different story if I hadn’t seen him.
