Devo we lost at indoor soccer tonight. That means the end of a ten game winning streak! Extra devo cos i now have a soccer ball print on my leg (literally have octagonal lines and everything) due to blocking a shot on goal. We’re going to get nice weather in Melbourne for the first time in ages and if i wear shorts I’m going to look mighty odd.

Arrived home to find that spring has sprung and the grass badly needs a mow. We have 3 acres of lawn.
Last week the mower threw the belt off the mower deck of the ride-on, didn’t worry me and left it to manana (me to fix later).

Yesterday;
I pull the deck and find a broken spindle on one blade. A big, expensive issue since it means the deck is likely now warped and will cause further issues.
The spindle looks to be made from magnesium alloy - something I don’t think I can weld.
Considering the transmission is going it makes more sense to trade in the old John Deere for a new one.
Parts alone are going to cost $2100.

For now I’m doing the main areas by push mower. Just the front yard (1/4 acre of grass), and a path to my my flat from the back door.

Dude, speaking from experience alpacas are useless as and quite temperamental.  If anything their constant shitting acts as fertiliser leaving you with patches of grass growing at a much faster rate than the rest… pretty funny actually.

My little oppsie the other week turned out to be a bit more serious. No more season for me :( :

So I’m on the operating table and the surgeon goes: How’d you do it?
Me: Snowboarding.
Surgeon: Perisher Jumps?
Me: Yep.
Surgeon: Knuckle it?
Me: /nods head/

We shall agree to disagree, the 10 I have currently keeping Chill Hill looking like a golf course are my evidence to the contrary smile

^ pfft, it would take more plaster than that to keep me away.
I would get the Dr to cast it in the shape of my boots so I could still strap into my bindings. Or I would give it 2 weeks and take the plaster off myself.

So what’s the outcome AJ? breaks, tears, fractures?
Looks B A D.
