ANOTHER rock slide on the Alpine Way today means I think it is best that the meixcians don’t come up via the alpine way for the shred… too risky I think!
BREAKING NEWS: The Alpine Way is closed (beyond Thredbo) in both directions 22 kilometres south of Khancoban due to another rock fall.
A detour is now available using the Snowy Mountains Highway via Tumut, Tumbarumba and on to Khancoban.
It’s expected this will add around three and a half hours to the journey, so motorists are being advised to delay all non-essential travel.
But I would go via Chill Hill Bairnsdale way not Tumut way.
Still lots of time until they are traveling!
true, but with a lot of r!#n in the forecast it is not worth the risk for such a small detour (in the grand scheme of things!)
