4WD/AWD are exempt and to thredbo its abit of a grey area, if we dont have a massive dump down low on your way up or down you’ll be fine

air180, we drove from Vic two yrs ago for the first Shred. It is such a tame road. Wont need chains unless it really dumps. NSW folk dont know what its like driving a real alpine road like Hotham
