Yeah just flicked through the email from perisher then. As a big fan of Guthega I’m not sure if this is good news or not…

im on the same page, it will bring more crowds undoubtedly and i see it doing a couple of things for lift lines,
firstly easing the stress on the blue cow t bar regardless of the increased numbers
and secondly creating even more mayhem/stupid long lines at the bottom of blue calf t bar (out the front of the smoldering turd)
Yep that’s true. I also felt the traverse and poma/t-bar combo kind of acted as an automatic filter to keep the worst of the punters away.
Might have to get the last of the speed runs down Bloody Mary/Woodpecker out of my system. I can already see people placing themselves right on the fast crests.
I haven’t thought much about it but it would have been nice to see them do something with the whole happy valley area or maybe sort out something else around ridge.
i dont think a chair in happy valley would be plausible because of the wind issues they get in there and the amount of terrain it would actually service
dont get me wrong that whole CV area from the midstation split off towards mt p is just a horrible funnel into the park and leichardt and happy T’s, maybe another Tbar in there somewhere would be a better option
yeah exactly I didn’t necessarily mean a chair lift but just something to sort out the bottlenecked mess it turns into. I hate that I have to second guess whether I should hit Mt P because of the clusterfk it can be getting back. I’d be happy with a home rope tow from the bottom of the triple chair

maybe a sled with rope attached service along the road when covered in snow?

As someone pointed out on the other place. People thought intercepted would be nuts, and it hasn’t ever really gone off as much as the terrain in there should cater for. That’s what I am hoping.
And if you see from the master plan the burning bog will be no more!!!
