Can’t center boot over board!

Guys, I have size 9.5 Burton Hail boots, Medium Mission bindings on a 153cm GNU Pickle. when using the center holes on the base plate I have plenty of heel overhang and not much on the toes. When I mount the bindings using the heel side base plate holes to move the bindings forward, its better, but there is noticeably more toe overhang than heel.
Anyone else have this problem with burton bindings or bindings without the adjustable heel cup?
I am thinking of getting some new bindings soon. Are bindings with an adjustable heel cup better with this issue?

Another way around this is to turn your stance discs 90degrees so the tracks are facing across the board not along it. If you are happy with the width of your stance just using the inserts and not needing to do minor adjustments, this will allow you to get your boot/binding centered.

Cannot comment on the adjustable heel cups as have not used them, but also have never really had too much trouble with centering my boot

Have you got pics, mate?????

There should be more than three adjustment increments in the disc?????

Adjustable Heel Cup is really more for Boot Size Adjustments!!!!! And I reckon it’s just another point where your binding can come loose?????

You are usin a 4 x 4 Disc?????

Yes just using the standard 4x4 disc.
I tried rotating the disc 90 degrees, made it no different.
Moving the the binding forward one hole just takes it too far the other way.
Seems like the adjustment i need is between the 2 adjustments i can make.

If you rotate the binding 90d you should be able to just slide the whole binding across till it is centered. I may be miss reading what the problem is thinking

Yeah I agree with the others. I use binding discs like this

And when I want to tweak my overhang I just run the channels perpendicular to the binding holes (sacrificing micro adjustments to stance width)

If moving one hole forward or back is too much, maybe your overhang problem isn’t that bad to begin with?

If it’s worrying you take a pic of the bottom of your board with the boot strapped into the binding showing the overhang.

Are you worried about overhang on the Binding or the Board? This might be where we are getting confused

Pretty sure DRC is on the money from what I read… He can’t get the board to stay cause the base plates are cheap or bad…

Whack up a couple of pics so we can better see what’s up!!!!!

I don’t have a problem with too much overhang. The amount of overhang is fine. Im just being a fussy prick and trying to get my boot overhang centred on the board.
Those discs look a lot more adjustable than what I have. I don’t think I would have an issue with those.
Im using these things.

Image isn’t workin, but I think what you have are the ones that only have 3 holes of adjustment?????

If ya can get hold of the older 4x4 discs they have more!!!!!

Yep that’s what I have the 3 hole ones! Looking at upgrading to a newer set of Burton bindings soon. Do the new Burtons have a better more customisable disc? Been looking at the 2013 Malavitas and Cartel Restricted. Which do you think would go well with the pickle?

Other guys will be able to help ya out with the comparison, as I think the flex has changed throughout the lives of the two bindings ya mentioned!!!!!

I’m pretty sure that the Re-Flex Versions will still leave ya with the adjustability issues though!!!!!
