Is the law and litigation getting out of control.
I spend a bit of time posting on a camper trailer forum and a lot of time lurking.
Came across a thread contain a letter sent to the admin of the site.
I did not get to read the original thread.
The crux of it is, someone started a thread about a certain brand of trailer they had bought, I am guessing they were not impressed with their purchase or the service they received and decided to rant about it on the forum.

I think it is absolute bullshit that a individual or business can threaten to and act in taking someone to court pursing $$$$ when the person receiving the action against them, has not written the defamatory words, but has only provided the platform for those words to be placed. Its a wonder the lawyers haven’t pursued the internet provider and computer company that it was typed on, after all, if they had not provided those tools for the poster….........
They even managed to take down Google for it….... Trkulja v Google
I don’t know how lawyers that practice this type of law can sleep at night!!!!

I know if it were on this forum, everyone would either verify or refute any claims about any products!!!!!

If they can’t openly address a complaint, be it legitimate or not, then it definitely looks as though they have somethin to hide!!!!!
There is absolutely no individual or corporate accountability or responsibility these days. Bums me out the way society is heading. Probs why i was so happy in whis. We called it never never land or the bubble. was def my happy place
