Thredbo 2013
Looks great but how was the riding. Smigs was sluggish down low so can’t imagine Thredders from half way down was any better!
I’m not in the mountains atm! Left thredbo on Wednesday and it was shocking. Took my poleCam up for a run but the card was full - the conditions were so bad I didn’t go for another run, even though it was entertaining with all the dirt and mud patches I had to negotiate.
I’m about to repack the car so I can leave tomorrow morning after the school run. Hopes are this storm can give us just a little bit more before I get there Tuesday arvo for a few freshies before lifts close.

Just saw on twitter that the Alpine Hotel are looking for casual wait staff.
Also the Alpine Road beyond thredbo is closed due to a land slide….
I almost went for a drive to check out the rock slide on Alpine Way yesterday but then changed my mind before driving home. I might go for a walk up there on this weekend.
Didn’t hear about the hotel looking for staff - then again I’ve been a bit under-the-weather this week so been laying low.
Finally heading down to the snow this week, though it looks like I mistimed my trip - i’ll be leaving Thredbo on Sunday :
