had an ankle reconstruction 2 years ago… ankle started to lock up and be a bit painful a few months ago..
just found out I need another operation on it… got to drill holes in my bone to get my body to regrow cartilage ...
on a brighter note my op is 4 days after my snow trip… pain killers and anti-inflammatory meds run at me

Didn’t bother going up yesterday due to the rain. It woke me at about 3am and rained steadily right through till I cracked the shits and packed up at about 11. The Sunday was really good actually, Smigs was still fine although I imagine it might have suffered a little yesterday but then it’s snowed again since then and I haven’t checked the cams again.
Devo, all my friends are being lame and no one will do a day trip to the snow. Having major snow withdrawals!

I know the drive sucks alone (trust me I have done it enough times) but when you get there, there will be people to ride with.
Don’t know how you guys do the drive on your own! I don’t reckon I could do it, any more than 2-3 hours and I start getting bad pain in my knees. :(

Nope, no cruise control in my car! I drive a Ford xr5. I’ve actually never owned a car with cruise control. I have rheumatoid arthritis so my knees can be a bit dodgy anyways, driving long distances just seems to exacerbate it.
