Very fond memories of broken head Deebs, I got my first barrel on a surfboard there in the late arvo, the mental image is still in my head 25 years later, fcuk I’m getting old…...............

Thats sneaky and tricky all in one. Is it bells?
I still remember my first big barrel.i got distracted and looked all aroind me and met with the lip.
Soon learnt target fixation…look at the hole.
I forgot about that when I started snowboarding and met with a tree. Doh.

Yeah Deebs, you got it.  I understand totally the look where you wanna go thing and then conversely the don’t look at things you dont want to hit!

After many many yrs surfing cloud9 where a good session can yeild 20 plus barrels I can chill and look around a bit now but boarding thru trees is still a bigger challenge. My mates are full tilt so the bars set high.
Anyway another famous wave. I reckon this will go quick.
