I don’t want to look desperate…
But you are.
I would send them a fresh one - or at least change the subject line.
Actually I would fwd your original email and just say one line.
“Due to the email response I received I thought I would send my CV through so I can be considered for an August phone/skype interview.
Kind Regards,
Tristan”Is your CV resort job ready?
Flick it to me and I will have a look. I have some capacity today.
Nope, I’ll do it tonight. (So still before they go back to work for Friday)
Okay well I can’t help you tonight….
Do you remember what I said to focus on?
I’ll write it up and get in touch with you. I’ll also download the opening weekend videos .
Can you possibly bring my go-pro back with you? it’s in my bag (main part) in the shed.
Are you guys driving tonight?
It at my place in Sydney - How do you think i got the video off it for dropbox?
Seriously we need to rename this
The go-pro? I haven’t actually watched those videos yet… :kim: (In anticipation)
Then go back and read my texts… I told you.
Maybe if somebody PM’s me their email, and they could have a look at my resume?
I will be forever grateful and maybe owe you a beer ?

Yeah mate, but both require 1 year of being a Sun Peaks lifty.
None of us have that…
Ohh, my bad didnt have a look a the criteria
They can’t check anyway. Just say you got it already.
Then if you get knocked back, just say you can’t take the job due to “Family” reasons or something…
No biggy, they will fill it with someone else.
I’ve sent off part two of the visa application which should come through mid/ late September if I’ve done everything right haha
Do you reckon I should say I’ve already got it when I apply for jobs online? They can’t do a name scan or something to see if we’re legally allowed to work there can they?
My part 2 took a few days for me to get back (Applied on Thursday and got it back on Tuesday). If you didn’t have criminal record issues, I’d give it a week or 2 and then maybe go with the little white lie. If you have criminal record issues, then I’d definitely wait until it’s confirmed or denied since it might cause more issues.

I got a message saying;
“This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. The following documents are required to continue processing your application.
Police Certificate: From each country/ state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate in addition to your previously submitted Police Certificate, please provide a Traffic History Report from Victoria.”
The Traffic History report is on the way now, but I wouldn’t have a clue what the difference between the police certificate I’ve already submitted and the “Police Clearance Certificate” that they want as well.. haha
Has anyone else from Victoria recieved this message after sending off part 2? So confusing

Are those tips earlier in this thread? I’d appreciate some guidance in getting my resume “resort ready” as I’ve got some time tomorrow to work on my resume.
