Dylan it was running last weekend, they obviously got the part! The V8 situation is a definite PITA though, well just start at Smigs again, Link T and then head up Interceptor and ove to the Cow. I might be able to sort you a lift Dylan as well mate, we’ll talk closer to the time.

Sunday is looking particularly tasty.
Not the weather so much as the distinct lack of lifts running again. They were running at 42 last weekend and now they are back to 34. That in conjunction with the wind is really testing my desire to go boarding over surfing.

Never seen a correlation between the amount of ppl who pull the pin on a weekend having anything to do with the size of the snowfall, thats just anecdotal wishful thinking. For every person that cant be bothered there is probably more thinking they’ll score fresh and windblown lines all weekend.
Im going to wait till midday to make my final decision.
On Monday lets see how many people didn’t go and are all “Man I wish i didn’t pull out of my trip!”
As for wishful thinking… it seems I am a glass half full kind person… I also wouldn’t care if i took a placebo as long as it worked!

Hell the first shred we went fishing on the Sunday due to lack of snow. Still freakin’ awesome weekend!
I’ve had 18 days this season already in the best and the worst of the season so far, im not overly concerned with missing out and cant really be faulted for lack of enthusiasm. Going to see if my mate in mountain ops can cast some light on what lifts are likely to be open tomorrow. From the perisher site it looked lije the v8 is running again, can anyone confirm?

Yeah I noticed that about the V8 as well. The cams show people riding it.
The report I had yesterday was from a punter not staff. So it seems they got it wrong. (or they borrowed a part from another chair)
Re Lifts I don’t think much is going to change til Sunday which is not great for you/us as we wont be around Monday.
Perisher staff will do everything in their power to open as many lifts as possible depending on snow (personally I think they were too quick the other weekend to open stuff!)
Oh and my murphy’s law theory-ing is also taking into consideration that next weekend is going to be the best weekend as a lot of us are in Sydney that weekend 
Yeah let me know what you decide Mike, I reckon 40cm will make Guthega/Interceptor/Eyre and your secret smiggs stash quite fun!
It would be even better with a riding/camping partner!
