You need some decent gradient, otherwise everyone will be stuck on slow bits. Keep that in mind. People can just do more turns if they want to slow down. Dont forget snow will likely be spring conditions and slow.
anyway to the bottom man! plus you wont have to worry cause ill have pushed you over at the start line and chucked your board in the bushes
I think this is a good way to do the start
excuse the 10second paint job haha

Anyway down is good. But does give advantage to local knowledge! and people could take one wrong turn and end up somewhere where it takes them another lift ride to get to the pub. I think it needs to stay competitive and everyone can end up there with in a similar time frame so we can all enjoy it together
I always forget that run, (sun something?) that cuts back to Friday Flat.
K2 if that line is open it will be okay.
But the top at Karels would be a great run, strap in skate point.

This is a good point.
I think top of highnoon could work.
But we can always do a reccy run/trip with everyone to show them the route.
The fun will be if someone does get lost!
I am sure River Inn will let us do something to pre pay - a voucher or something.
That could be half the fun.
What if it is close to a tie and one person can’t find their token

Yea lots of flat area to run, skate and strap in @ the top of karels
What if it is close to a tie and one person can’t find their tokenthats why i said beers already on table, actually come to think of it i know a guy that works at the bar there now, if he’s still there im sure he’ll help out the cause
As I said Dylan I KNOW (they did it for my group last year) they will help us out by doing some sort of pre pay system.
BUT lining them up on the bar takes away half the fun I think!

Idk about you but ive never found waiting in line or even waiting for my beer to be poured “fun”
And the first person in the line will had a distinct advantage at that point. If they are pre-poured, then it relies more on a combination of skills (Running, strapping, skooting, strapping, shredding, unstrapping, running, lifting, chugging, placing empty glass upside down on headding)

There’s a few fast sections in the Village Trail, combined with a few flatter sections, so it can make for interesting happenings?????
But like I said, it all depends on if there’s enough snow in Sept to even keep it open!!!!!
Ive got a few plans up mysleeve for no snow at the end…..may involve a pre dumped mountain bike

I have no problem with river or dirt boarding through thick shrubs to tackle you and steal said bike

I doubt that there will be that much difference that getting onto a pre dumped mountain bike will help (especially in boots). The first shred had pretty abysmal snow and we could still get to the gunbarrel (which is a 10m walk to the bar)
Just takin the piss any way
Yeh last time there was snow near the bottom.
TJ I can pretty much do anything in snowboots i can do in shoes. Drive manual car, ride a skateboard. Pretty sure I’d have no trouble riding a mtb.
Dylan, you gave me an idea. I have no trouble running through a creek to take a short cut if there was one haha
