Enjoy those 1314 IPO’s Jeremy!
AND - I will also make sure you guys have some NOW DEMO’S for The Shred this year.
Realised I haven’t posted my current setup as it is at the moment.
Board - Capita Indoor Survival FK 158
Bindings - Union Force
Have to say, loving this SO much more than my old plank.
For the 2013/14 season I have sitting at the folks house unopened:
Burton Aftermath 155 board
Burton Genesis EST bindings
Burton Ambush boots

I just sold one of those awhile back, really nice board
Last weekend was my first ride. Really liked it. Turn initiation is so much better than my stiff, cambered board. Just a whole lot more playful, which is what I was looking for.
Had quite a few lifties asking about it too. Dunno why.
My Aussie quiver. Loving both of these setups.
Burton Joystick 150 + Burton Cartel EST bindings
and
FYVE Mayhem 151 + Now IPO bindings
When would you ride your joystick and when would you ride the mayhem? Just curious
They ride very differently and I appreciate the variation. The Joystick is softer, full rocker, and slightly shorter. The Mayhem rides a lot closer to a cambered board, which is my preferred choice.
To be honest, the Mayhem suits my riding style more for sure. 80% of the time, that’s what I would want to ride. But for fun stuff in the mini park, spring shred, buttering around, jibbing… the Joystick is super fun to ride.
Cool thanks
I think at the Shred I’m gonna try riding my Forum Forever (its a Manual but special edition). It is Chilli dog with pop. So its continuous rocker with “pop zones” outside the bindings. Looking down the profile by eye it looks rocker in middle with flat ends.
Its a 153. I wanna get back onto riding a smaller board in Aus. I been riding my K2 155 for ages. Love it to bits, but feel like its holding me back a bit freestyle wise.
How do you find the now ipo’s vs the cartel’s? In regards to responsiveness and comfort
